In attempt to memorize Priscilla Shirer's “Who’s Your Daddy?," a Truth she said caught my attention… “When you fall, He will lift you up.”

I wondered - why do I have to fall? Can’t He just keep me from falling? Catch me before I do?

However, this mindset kept me from realizing the gift it is that He lifts me up.

There are many moments in life where we feel we have fallen too far from God's reach. Trials that leave us heartbroken, confused, hopeless. Wounds and seasons that have caused us to question God’s faithfulness in our lives.

Not that these moments are to be desired, but that God is so kind, so good, so faithful, so true - that He allows even the falling to lead us to fall more + more in love with Him.

My prayer over this collection is that by each design - your heart is encouraged with The Truth that God is Faithful. Always + Forever. In every season. And through every season. No matter what - because He does not change. And that you take hold of the deep joy He offers through gratitude for Him in all circumstances.

 

He uses what was meant to harm us, to sing of His Glory. He makes every broken thing, beautiful. And He uses each fall, to lead us to fall more + more in love with Him.

 

We can enter His gates with Thanksgiving + His courts with Praise, singing Thank You Jesus simply because of Who He is. And how He proves that over + over. Xx
